Android developer at Dawn Technology

Do you go to sleep and wake up with thoughts of Android? Is your day incomplete without at least one moment where you solve someone’s problem with an Android app? If so, we’re on the same wavelength. We work remotely, meaning most of us work from home. Some of our clients also need someone on-site one day per sprint or week, providing a perfect blend of flexible hours and regular client interaction.

About You:

• You’re a software engineer, not just a coder. You understand why that’s a crucial difference.
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and learning from others.
• You build cool things that make you proud.
• You speak/understand Dutch.
• Tech stacks like Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, Gradle, and JetPack Compose? You know them like the back of your hand!

Your Role at Dawn Technology:

• Make an impact by designing, developing, and releasing new solutions.
• Work in a multifunctional, agile team.
• Influence the success of products used by thousands of people.
• Identify, understand, and help solve mobile developers’ challenges.
• Assist others in automating their daily tasks.
• Work with our gadget kits, including a MacBook Pro, a 27-inch 5K monitor, and all the devices you need for the apps you’ll design for us.

Requirements

What we expect from you:

• If we have Android questions, you’re the go-to person.
• You know the ins and outs of at least one programming language.
• You have a degree in IT or Computer Science.
• You’re talented and passionate—especially about app development—and you’re not afraid to show it!
• You have an agile mindset and a strong focus on problem-solving.
• You can define and communicate technical and design requirements.
• You enjoy teamwork and know how to demonstrate that.
