Kicking Off 2026 with Record-Breaking Energy: First Speakers Announced for Appdevcon
Best wishes to the Appdevcon community
First of all, we wish our entire Appdevcon community a happy, healthy, and inspiring new year. We hope 2026 has started off great for you and that you’re feeling as energized as we are, because behind the scenes, we certainly haven’t been standing still.
A record-breaking Call for Papers
After December 19, things moved fast. Very fast. The weeks that followed were entirely dedicated to reviewing the Call for Papers, and once again, the Appdevcon community exceeded all expectations. This year, we received a record number of submissions, something we are incredibly proud of: we had a total of 1,144 submissions! This overwhelming response shows just how engaged, passionate, and supportive the app development community truly is. It also proves that many developers are willing to step outside their comfort zone, share their knowledge, and take the stage, sometimes for the very first time.
A stage for everyone
At Appdevcon, we firmly believe that great talks don’t depend on seniority or job titles. Whether you’re a seasoned speaker, a first-time presenter, a mobile developer, a backend specialist, or simply someone with a strong story to tell, everyone is welcome. Appdevcon is a place where experienced professionals and new voices stand side by side. That diversity is exactly what makes the conference so valuable, inspiring, and relevant year after year.
