From Frames to Files – Building Video with Swift

We use video everyday, but have you ever wondered how it actually works? How can we turn a bunch of pixels into moving pictures that we can see on screen, store in a file or transmit over the network? In this talk we’ll take a look at the history of video and build our own video from the ground up using only Swift. Then we’ll turn big uncompressed images, into small useable files using different Apple APIs.
