130 Swift Keywords in 45 Minutes
The Swift language has over 100 keywords, and that number increases with every release. Unless you’ve been doing nothing but “consume”-ing Swift grammar, you’ve probably come across “some” of these keywords lately and weren’t really sure when you should “try” to use them. You might say you felt “isolated”. My goal is to give you the confidence to “import” these keywords into your vocabulary so that you can “throw” them around like “any” Pro, at your “convenience”.
This talk is my wacky attempt to meaningfully cover “as” many keywords as possible, why they’re important, and how they’ve changed. If you’re a newer Swift developer, this talk will help build your vocabulary so that you can build bigger, more complex things. And even if you’ve been around the block a few times, I bet there are a few keywords in here that will surprise you. Don’t “defer”… what are you “await”-ing for?!
